How to apply / Summer 2010

Please read the eclosed material very carefully, including the eligibility conditions, and proceed according to the instructions.

Eligibility conditions

Applicants must be in good academic standing and normally have completed at least two semesters of coursework at the time of application preferably with overall G.P.A. of 3.0. Exception to these criteria is considered on a case by case basis. There is no language prerequisite for the study at CHP.

How to apply

If you want Northwestern University or University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill credits, apply with the Northwestern University or University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill respectively. Otherwise apply directly with the Collegium Hieronymi Pragensis.

To apply directly with Collegium Hieronymi Pragensis, follow these steps:

• Download application forms (6 forms)
• Fill them out
• Mail the application forms together with a letter of recommendation and your last transcript to Collegium Hieronymi Pragensis office with express mail.

• Notify the CHP office by e-mail that your application package has been mailed.

Costs

The Summer Program fee is 6830 USD. The fee covers tuition, accommodation, breakfasts, compulsory field trips organized by the program (for details see reach-out activities) and social events. A refundable dorm deposit of 300 USD is due upon arrival to Prague. Students will be charged for reading packages. The charge for reading depends on respective course, but should not exceed 100 USD for two courses.

Deadline

Deadline for application is April 30, 2010. In case of late application, consult the CHP office at summer10@chp.cz.

Acceptance

Students will be notified about their acceptance to the CHP Summer 2010 Program by e-mail immediately after the decision of CHP Academic Board is made, by May 7 at the latest.
