Get to know each other and CHP staff. Orientation in the neighborhood, basic information - how to get to the program facility, where to change money, where to eat, where the best jazz clubs and cafés are... Program rules. |

Trip to Kutna Hora
From the 14th century Kutná Hora was an important royal silver mining town with royal mint. Since 1995 Kutná Hora is on the UNESCO world heritage list. The Cathedral of St. Barbora is considered one of the most impressive gothic cathedrals in Central Europe. |

Trip to Terezín
Excursion to the town of Terezín (Theresienstadt), originally an impregnable military fortress, which gained notoriety under the Nazis as the nefarious concentration camp. |

Opera Performance in the National Theatre
The Makropulos Case – famous opera by Janáček in the historical building of the National Theatre. |

Trip to Dresden
The capital of the German state Saxony, 85% of which was destroyed during the WWII. Dresden's former landmarks, such as the Frauenkirche, the Semperoper or the Zwinger were rebuilt and the city now belongs to the most beautiful towns on the Elbe River. |

Trip to Ceský Krumlov
Medieval town in Southern Bohemia, one of the most beautiful destinations with a preserved historical center. |
