Starting Spring 2013, CHP has prepared a new curricular component. Two new courses are designed namely for future students of medicine, students of sociology, political science, and history.

• Health Care Systems and Policies
• History of Medicine.

The program starts with a short orientation, which pro­vides students with basic cultural information and knowledge of the city. The orientation is followed by a two week core course session that consists of the Czech Culture and Civilization course and an intensive conversational course of Czech language Let’s Talk Czech. The first two weeks will be followed by regular semester courses. Each student has to enroll in both core course session courses and four regular semester courses - to be selected from the Spring 13 curriculum - one of which is the regular semester course of Czech.

The program lasts for sixteen weeks (including a one-week break). Courses meet from Monday through Friday and are all taught in English.
