Fall 2012
The Fall 2012 program offers courses in economics, political sciences, European history, psychology, Jewish studies, art history, Czech and European literature, gender studies, religious studies, modern Czech film, and Czech Language.
In Spring 2012, CHP introduced a Media studies component into its curriculum. In this connection two new courses are offered also in Fall 2012, namely
The program starts with a short orientation, which provides students with basic cultural information and knowledge of the city. The orientation is followed by a two week core course session that consists of the Czech Culture and Civilization course and an intensive conversational course of Czech language Let’s Talk Czech. The first two weeks will be followed by regular semester courses. Each student has to enroll in both core course session courses and four regular semester courses - to be selected from the Fall 2012 curriculum - one of which is the regular semester course of Czech.
The program lasts for sixteen weeks (including a one-week break). Courses meet from Monday through Friday and are all taught in English.
